2005 dodge neon tranny? ok so i have a 2005 dodge neon SE
its got 40,000 miles and runs fine
it has an automatic tranny
Ive added cold air intake. Cam, exhaust, spark plugs, new fuel injection system. brakes. and headers
there has been a big jump in the cars performance since ive added all that but im worried....Can the automatic tranny handle it all?
because ive also been thinking about adding 8psi turbo to the car but im wondering how the tranny will hold.
Will the tranny be ok or is there something i can do for the tranny. making the car standard is a no because my wife cant drive stick
help me out 03 dodge neon tranny cooler line? anyone know if the tranny cooler line are pressed in or threaded guy at the local parts store says pressed Car problems please help?!?!?!? CAR PEOPLE ONLY PLZ!!! 96 plymouth neon tranny problems? I bought a 1996 plymouth neon about a year ago and it had problems so i put 250 into new filters and new plugs and a whole bunch of other things under the hood. Well the tranny has gone on it. I only put 750 into the car total..500 for it and the 250 of parts. It will cost 1500 about to fix. I'm thinking just junk it but what is the best option to take? Will I even get anything for it? Can I trade it in for say a buy here pay here type thing (I have bad credit right now) even tho it won't run? The neon just stays in neutral when you shift into drive. It still goes in reverse and the engine sounds normal I just wanna do the smartest most profitable thing with the situation? maybe buy a replacement tranny I saw some on ebay motors around 200 but I don't know the labor of putting it in and taking the old tranny out? thanks everyone for your help Sophie B replied: "salvage yard trans..150-200.00.....another hundred to have someone install..."

Do the craigslist and ebay thing and you might not only break even, but come out ahead." 2003 neon tranny problems? took my car into a tranny shop about 4 months ago. has roughly 103k miles on it. they changed the fluid and filter, car went 17 miles and they tranny locked up. found out they put dextron 3 in my tranny. A/D calles for ATF 4. contacted the place and they wont do anything about it. went to the BBB the company responded required more information. I gave it to them now the BBB closed the case because they wont respond. I live 7 hours away from this place and to get an attorney it has to be around there and it seems no one will take the case. now I have a car payment and cant drive my car. any suggestions. I havent really needed the car as I have a spare but I would still like to get it fixed. if you know of anything I can do or are an attorney that wants the case let me know. thanks I appreciate any suggestions
the state is michigan and the only way that I know it was dextron 3 is I called and told them it was a little low on fluid and didnt know what to put in the mechanic told me all they stocked was 3 and thats what he put it. |
